Description
The Ferocactus glaucescens is a blue/green bodied cactus with bright yellow spines often 2-3cm long. This cactus grows to 50cm in height and can sometimes can produce an impressive cluster to 80cm across in about 30 years. Each head can be up to 30cm across. They Produce small delicate yellow flowers from the top and centre of the cactus. This Ferocactus is native to north east Mexico.
No more difficult to grow than other cacti requiring your brightest location for the summer months and nice gritty compost, with attention to watering.
