You need the right Compost!
All succulents need gritty free draining mineral based compost. We have designed a compost to take the guess work out of growing succulents. Perfect for when you are getting started.
- It gives all the nutrients succulents need to flourish
- It allows succulents to take on water but roots to dry out quickly
- It helps stop the number one reason succulents die…root rot

Easy Care Tips for Succulent Beginners
Watering – When completely dry.
Apr – Sept Water when dry – Drench Drain Dry right out Repeat. Do not let them sit in water, remove any excess water after 2 hours.
Oct – Mar Water sparingly (3 or 4 tbs once a month). If keeping below 10 Degrees do not water at all, you will likely kill them.
Light – Most succulents will enjoy as much light as you can give them.
Outside they get the best mix of light rays, but only when the frost has gone! Keep them in your sunniest spot if growing inside. Conservatories and porches are great options as well as sunny windowsills.
Heat – Do not let your succulents freeze.
Most succulents will tolerate low temperatures but do not want to freeze. Succulents will go dormant under 10 degrees and will not grow. In this state they do not need any water, in fact watering will likely kill them when dormant.
