Description
Aeonium ‘Coronation’ – A Head Fit For A Crown
New for 2023 – Aeonium ‘Coronation’.
This is a tall growing statuesque Aeonium with large heads of a coppery dark purple colour. The plant has leaves within the head that turn upright and appear to give it an appearance of wearing a crown.
Its parentage is Aeonium ‘Plum Purdy’ and ‘Bronze Teacup’ explaining where its height comes from and its coppery tones. This was from a batch of seedlings we harvested from a sowing about 5 years ago which also yielded sister plant Aeonium ‘Jubilee’ which was a finalist at the Cheslsea Flower Show Plant Of The Year competition 2022.
