Description

Tillandsia andreana is a striking and uncommon air plant known for its spherical growth and fine leaves. Unlike many air plants, its foliage is vibrant green and diffuses outwards in a wild, dainty display – eventually forming a compact clump from around the base.

This Tillandsia is native to the mountains of Colombia, and super easy to care for – completely compost free. When exposed to sunlight this air plant gets a flush of red on the leaves. Tillandsia andreana has tubular, bright coral-red flowers that emerge from the centre of the plant during summer!

This air plant will add a touch of wild elegance to your collection, and is ideal for displaying in hanging or lying glass globes, on driftwood or on a bright indirect windowsill.

Air plants are not frost hardy.

Amazing care in packaging it, it came without any damage and was sent swiftly.

A delight to open and admire the beautiful succulents which were a good size, totally undamaged and excellent value for money. Highly recommended and will use Ottershaw Cacti again in the future. They were wrapped with care, and all appear to be as healthy as can be expected after being in a box for a couple of days. Really like the instructions on potting them on which I have followed.
